Extinction of a moment

Its already 5:12 am,

And they become a skeleton,
Its how life goes like it or not,
Disappointment,

It’s just the way it goes,
They are not the dream that you dreamt,
Its already 5:31,
And their skeletons keep staring at my face,

I feel sadness,
It’s hard just to accept the fact that they are   gone;
Memories are nothing more than the morgue of stories,
The cemetery of time,

Bottled up into the past,
Never to be re-lived,
Throughout time;
The clock above me already says 6:02,

We invest in them,
An investment with benefits that are called consequences,
It stings when decisions about time are wrong,
But what else can we do, we aren’t perfect;

Minutes make fun of me,
They laugh in my face,
They don’t pay rent,
They don’t have a place;

Its already 6:12,
An hour that just passed,
That is just a memory,
To never come back.

They laugh in my face,
They don’t pay rent,
The cemetery of time,
They love to die.

  1. :-( Minutes, extintion of a moment, makes me realize that no minute is like any other. That is why we need to make great scenes in this movie of our lives, so when we think back and watch the entire thing, feel happy about the choices we made, and the legacy we left.
